San Jose del cabo

hi, my husband and I are looking to rent a condo in San Jose del cabo.
We would like a swimming pool and near the beach. quiet is important.
Any thoughts?

San Jose is low key, quiet, compared to Cabo San Lucas. It has great restaurants, Mega market for stocking your condo. it will be nice

Oops! I cannot give any specific recs, but make sure you are right on the water, away from the highway and traffic noise.

Check Coral Baja or El Zalate. We have stayed at the Coral Baja in a timeshare, but several units are individually owned and rented out. It is a nice complex. El Zalate is next door.

Check VRBO.com for a place in Las Mananitas. We love the San Jose atmosphere. The small downtown is like the old Cabo. We have stayed twice in the Mananitas condos and it is fabulous. If you can find a place in phase 1, which is right on the beach. The pool area is beautiful and you can grill right near the ocean. The beach in San Jose is a bit too rough for swimming, but if you rent a car you can go to many nearby beaches for great snorkeling. We loved the condos so much, we rented a 2 bedroom and paid a little extra just for the great location.
