Venezuela??

Not on a dare.

Seriously, Americans are fish food there, right now. The country's on the verge of imploding against everything the current government stands for....and, the current government kinda likes America.

Go to the state dept's website for more information...and, travel warnings about that area.

Don't make your first visit to South America your last.

justjohn

Samantha,

Go you will have so much fun. I have never been there but i have a friend that was just there recently and she had a blast they say Margarita island is 10 times better and cheaper then aruba. People from S. America love American people so i would not worry. I have traveled to Brazil on several occasions and i have had a great experience. Have a good trip
chan

Please, think about visiting Brasil. Great towns, great beaches, great islands, great ecological destinations too. In Brasil, nobody is at risk because of his nationality, ethnic roots or professed religion. We know pretty well how to share and mix genes and cultures.
