Royal Hideaway Transportation

Hi! We are staying at the Royal Hideaway and was just wondering what the recommended method of getting to and from the airport is?

Thanks in advance.

We used Cancun valet and definitely thought is was worth the money.

I stayed at the Royal Hideaway last year and it was wonderful! I booked a shuttle to and from the airport as I thought it would be cheaper but it turned out that taking a taxi was about the same price and even a little cheaper - about 10-20 pesos cheaper each way. I would take a taxi because it's alot more convenient than a shuttle you have to wait for. Have a great trip!

Thank you! Do I just get a cab at the airport. Are the lines long to wait for one?

Gail,
What was the cost of the shuttle from the airport to RH?
Thanks,

The price of a cab from RH to the airport is $40 before tip, so I'd imagine it's the same going out to the resort. I would however give another strong recommendation to using Cancun Valet from the airport. The airport is crazy and, as other posters have noted, can be intimidating. It was very nice to see my name on a card in the see of madness. Driver was great, car was air-conditioned and we went straight to our door for $60 before tip (for one-way). My wife and I felt very safe using Cancun Valet and we'll use them again when we return.
