rock climbing in CR

Hi. I'm desperately trying to find out details about rock climbing in Costa Rica. I know there are spots: Cerro Pelado, Roca Bruja, Tempisque. I emailed Munda Adventura, the climbing gym in San Jose, but haven't gotten very far. I'm happy to pay for an experienced guide to take me and my husband out climbing for a day or two at the beginning of June. Any ideas?? We can bring equipment. And we really need to go in the Guanacaste area because of limited time in CR.

thanks all.

D. Rogers (triptothesun) has posted about 40 routes in Costa Rica at http://www.rockclimbing.com/users/li...D=triptothesun

He also gives his e-mail address and offers to guide so you might try contacting him.

i found those posts and joined the rock climbing list -- sending numerous emails to him, but have not received any replies. i'm still trying :-). thanks, though.

Since you said desperately here's another thin lead.
These guys operate in the south

but they've always at least answered e-mail. They run in the right circles and might know someone available out of SJ or other points north.

I tried a few years back to find reliable climbing resources, but struck out and gave up. Hope you have better luck.
