riviera mayan all inclusive suggestions?
Hi,
My mom is taking my dad to the Riviera Maya to celebrate his 50th birthday. They will only be there for 4 nights. They were going to try to all inclusive route. They like the beach, snorkeling, and good food. Their travel agent told them about the following resorts. Any opinions or insights will help. Paradisus Riviera Iberostar Paraiso Lindo Dreams Tulum Barcello Maya Bahia Principe Coba and the Grand Paladium Thanks all! |
Also add to that list: Secrets Capri. Secrets Capri is adults only, Paradisus will have a lot of kids. We liked both places. Iberostar Paraiso Lindo is one of five resorts in a large complex. One of which is adults only, but not that one.

Thanks
I had some other people highly recommend el dorado seaside suites. I feel like instead of narrowing it down we just keep expanding the list. It's difficult to choose. I'm not sure if any of those on the list the travel agent provided are adult only. I dont' think so. |
Have them check out the Iberostar Paraiso Grand. It is at the same complex as the Lindo, but it is adults only and has butler and concierge service and gourmet food.

Also, the Royal Playa del Carmen. It's an all suite adults only AI resort within walking distance to 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Be aware that many of the larger AI resorts are an expensive cab ride or inconvenient shuttle to Playa del Carmen if that is an issue to them. We've stayed at the El Dorado Seaside Suites also and didn't care that it was out in the middle of nowhere. |
I think since they'll be there such a short time, they won't be too concerned with how far they are from town. They actually were looking into El Dorado Royale...that's a sister resort to El Dorado Suites I believe. You liked your stay?

ok so she finally decided. They booked a room at El Dorado Seaside Suites. We'll see how it goes.
thanks for your input |
