Riviera maya resorts?

My girlfriend are looking for a caribbean getaway to remember. We've looked for about a month now and have come up with a few options. Royal Hideaway is booked the week we want to go so that's out. Remaining are Aventura Spa Palace, Kantenah Palladium Grand Resort, and El Dorado Royale. HELP PLEASE! We've seen good and bad reviews of all of these places. We just want a nice beach, good snorkeling, and to be able to relax! Thanks in advance...

My suggestions after RH would be Maroma, Paraiso Isla Bonita or Aventura Spa Palace.
ASP gets a lot of good reviews on here.

HAVE YOU TRIED SECRETS CAPRI IT'S A NEW RESORT SHOULD HAVE ALL THE KINKS OUT BY NOW! IT'S ADULTS ONLY LIKE ROYAL HIDEAWAY.

I haven't been, but there have been comments here about Aventura's beach which are not favorable. I thinks it's rocky. You may want to try a text search here to double check.

Another resort, that's fairly new and has been well received is Riu Palace in PDC.

There is a message board that is completely PDC oriented. I think I found the link here on Fodors. I've found the posters there to be very helpful and some of them live in PDC. Here's the web address incase you want to check it out.
