Does anyone out there have an honest opinion and/or trip report on the Grand Velas resort and spa ? Very anxious for any feedback. Thanks to all !

Also look at some of the reviews on TA. There is a lot of first hand information on those forums.

As above, you need Trip Advisor :-)

TA is where folks interested in that type of resort in the Yucatan tend to discuss and compare the merits of certain properties.
Many travelers prefer other types of accomodation, posadas for example, or rented condos, along the Yucatan coast or even in the inland cities.
Lots of choices;something for every taste and budget.

Thank you all but after further research, we decided on Curacao!
