Rio Celeste link

Once in a while the Rio Celeste area is mentioned on this forum, but there usually isn't a lot of info available since it's off the main Arenal area tourist track. I got this article from Costa Rica Traveler on my Facebook page and thought it might help those looking for "off the grid" destinations. It has some links to a few of the lodges near Tenerio and Rio Celeste plus some great photos of this amazing place. It's on my list for future trips, for sure!

Really beautiful and still on our to do list!

VG - if your "to do" list for Costa Rica is anything like mine, it just keeps on growing, right?!!

Thanks for posting colibri - it's on my list too and the list keeps growing. :-) I'm always puzzled when people return after a 7 day trip and say "now that we've "done" Costa Rica, where to next"!

Thanks Colibri
I have forwarded this to our travelling buddies. We will be in Costa Rica in a month and are planning on hiking here. Looks beautiful.

If you're in the Rio Celeste area, check out Rincon de la Vieja National Park. It offers some very cool geothermal features. Here's [an article to whet your appetite!|http://www.costaricatraveler.com/eng...le.php?id=185]
