Ribeirao Preto
 

I am going to Ribeirao Preto pretty soon, to visit a friend. I know nothing about the city. Is anyone familiar with that city? I know it is not too far from Sao Paulo. Is it a big city? A lot of night life?<BR>Any help would be appreciated.

Hello again...<BR>I forgot to tell you that if your friend is not coming to take you at the airport Guarulhos in Sao Paulo, <BR>then you can take the bus "airport Service" from airport to the bus-station...it costs about 14 Reais, but it is safe, air-conditioned and cheap, the taxis are too expensive!!<BR>This bus is leaving near the entrance where you are getting out of the airport, ..I think the tickets will be sold inside, not really sure!<BR>You take the one named "Guarulhos/Terminal Rodovi&aacute;rio Tiet&ecirc;" and this is the time-table, when the bus leaves:<BR><BR>05:00 05:30 06:00 06:25 07:10 07:55 08:40 09:25 <BR>10:10 10:55 11:40 12:25 13:10 13:55 14:40 15:25 <BR>16:10 16:55 17:40 18:25 19:10 19:55 20:40 21:25 <BR>22:10 22:30 23:10 00:05 01:00 02:00 03:00 04:00 <BR>When you are at the bus-station, you have to take the bus to Ribeira Preto-SP, which will takes you 4 hours, and it will cost about 28 Reais!<BR>Here's the page, where you can have a look at the time-tables from the bus-station in Sao Paulo:<BR><BR>http://www.socicam.com.br/webhtml/oricab.asp<BR><BR>under"cidade de origem" you select Sao Paulo- under "cidade de destino" you select Ribeirao Preto-SP and "enviar",<BR>so you can see the bus-companies, which are travelling there, times, and of course prices!<BR>Greetings again!<BR>Evelyn<BR><BR><BR><BR>
