Restaurants near San Jose airport and in La Fortuna

I am traveling to Costa Rica in a few days, 2 nights at the Marriott Hacienda Belen near the San Jose airport and then 5 nights at the Tabacon Thermal Resort in La Fortuna area. We have tours, activities planned but would appreciate restaurant recommendations in these two areas; low key and casual, fancy, typical of area or not, etc. I would like to have sushi one meal during the trip and read that the Springs resort has a sushi bar. Has anyone eaten there and if so would you recommend it.
Thank you in advance

I think both The Springs Resort and Spa and Nayara have sushi. Don Rufino is a good restaurant in town.

We've stayed at that Marriott and really enjoyed it. They have a nice pool area and had wild parrots in the trees when we've stayed there. Ask for a high floor so you'll have a nice view.

Thanks for tip on sushi and Don Rufino. We’ll be sure to have a meal at Don Rufino. Looking forward to relaxation at the Marriott before heading over to the Fortuna area.

We haven't stayed at Tabacon, but we've visited their natural hot springs, and they're beautiful.

We've also eaten at El Novillo, and it was good. You'd have to check to see if they're still open. It's been a while, but they're known for good steaks which isn't a common thing in Costa Rica.
