restaurants in san pedro

Hi, I am looking for restaurants in SP that serve excellent breakfast and lunch. I have a pretty good idea where I want to go for dinner. I am not looking for anything too expensive, rather save that for dinner. Ambiance is always a plus. Thanks for your suggestions!

I'm not a big breakfast eater, but check out Estelle's, George's and Ruby's for cinnamon rolls. I've heard good things about Monkey Bites too, but haven't been.

Many of the restaurants in town are open for lunch as well as dinner, the exceptions that come to mind are Casa Picasso and Pasta La Vista.

We had an excellent lunch at Capricorn a couple weeks ago, but it certainly wasn't cheap.

I had breakfast at Estel's right on the beach and thought it was good. For lunch, the Blue Water Grille at the Sunbreeze Hotel is very good and the location can't be beat. I looked at the Capricorn's menu and thought it overpriced plus it is far from San Pedro at three miles north of the cut.

Also, Casa Picasso didn't impress me much, overpriced and the location next to the airstrip is poor. For dinner, Elvi's was by far the best meal I had in San Pedro and it wasn't vastly overpriced.

Monkey Bites was good for breakfast and the lunch menu looked good. George's for certain for a breakfast, we also had lunch here and was good. Reef Restaurant and Tackle Box were also good for lunch.

Note: Most restaurants close in San Pedro at 2 or 3 PM and do not reopen until 5 or 6PM – so try to plan your lunches prior to 2 PM.

The Blue Water is a wonderful place to eat lunch or dinner. If you like seafood, try the seafood pasta. It is so good! Wish I could find something similar in Portland.
