Restaurants in Manuel Antonio
My wife and I are going to be in Manuel Antonio for four nights beginning this Saturday. I would love to hear your recommendations for restaraunts in the area. We would probably be more interested in more casual, laid back places with a good local vibe, good drinks, and even some live music rather than upscale or more elegant places. We will be staying at Costa Verde, so I'm sure we'll hit the Anaconda or El Avion at least one evening, but I'd really appreciate your recommendations for other breakfast, lunch, and dinner spots.
Thanks! |
We had a fabulous, very local lunch down by the park on the beach. I don't think it had a name, but a local hangout under a palapa.
We also stayed at Costa Verde, so ate a number of times at Anaconda and also at El Avion. We did one night of fine dining at Kapi Kapi. It was excellent, but a nice, relaxed, not stuffy atmosphere. Wish I could be of more help. |
We really liked Ronnie's Place/Mi Lugar - good fresh seafood and sangria, also Cafe Agua Azul, Barba Roja, and Salsipuedes. Cafe Milagro has good coffee drinks. A lot of places have good sunset views.

Marlin's seems to get a lot of good reviews; we haven't tried that one yet.
