Restaurants?

Hi, I've finally got all of our hotel reservations and most plans worked out. On our last day we will have 3 hours between the Sansa flight from Drake Bay and our plane home. Are there any worthwhile restaurants close by or within taxi range where we chould have lunch? I hate to think about spending our last 3 hours in Costa Rica sitting around the airport eatting burgers.

Also, we'll be staying at Playa Grande. Are there any worthwhile restaurants near there that we chould check out?

We definately will try the sodas this trip. We didn't dare last time we were there, but we'll be braver this time around.

Sodas are great! Do try them. . .

Also, I'd recommend a 10 min. taxi into Heredia to a little restaurant serving crepes--Le Petit Paris. Casual and different, but good. Are you allowing 2 hours at the airport before departure as part of the 3 hours you are referring to?

That is 3 hours total. I guess we need to check in 2 hours before hand so that leaves us an hour to get some lunch. Will that work out?

Sure it will. But I'd just hop across the street to Rosti Pollo. Well, not hop. . .you know what I mean!

Thank You Shillmac. That sounds perfect.

I second shillmacs suggestion. Rosti Pollo is just across the highway from the airport. Unfortunately it is not a soda, but was quite tasty. And certainly beats our American fast food restaurants that are found inside the airport.
