Rental Villas in Mexico?

Four couples, late 30's looking to rent a villa in Mexico on the Caribbean side (Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Akumal, etc.)

Can anyone recommend an above-average villa in a safe area? We're looking for an oceanfront 4-bedroom with pool. We'd like a sandy beach area with calm waters.

Last January we stayed at a South Akumal condo in a private gated community and were very pleased with the accommodations. This was arranged through Bill at www.bill-in-tulsa.com
He might be able to find something that would fit your needs.

locogringo.com has many gorgeous villas to choose from in Akumal and environs.
Friendly reliable folks we've used several times.
They have a search feature that will help you find EXACTLY what you are looking for...
Don't go there during hurricane season.

This may seem like a nitpicky question, but here goes.
I'm looking for a villa in Akumal to share with another couple this spring. We each have one child (5 and 4). The descriptions of most villas usually refer to a master suite, then a few other bedrooms. If one couple takes the master suite, that wouldn't be fair to the other. So I"m wondering if there are midsize villas with either two master suites or generally equal bedrooms. Thanks,
Jim
