Recommended Driver
 

We are traveling to Costa Rica on our honeymoon in a few weeks, and after deciding not to drive, were wondering if anyone could recommend a driver for us. We will be arriving in San Jose, would need transportation to Arenal. We would also need transportation at the end of our trip from Puerto Viejo to San Jose. Any ides?

We use Carlos Bogarin. His e-mail is [email protected]. Our flight got in very late, and he still waited at the airport for us and even provided clean blankets and pillows since we were traveling late at night. Cost to go from SJO to Arenal was $120 last year, but I think it's gone up to $140. He was very nice and reliable.

Is there an option to take a flight each of the ways?

You can check out Sansa and Nature Air; those are the companies that do internal CR flights. They both have good websites. Be aware that they limit the weight of the luggage you can bring on.
