Thanks Susie- we had a great time.
Very easy to get into town by bus for 8 pesos. Also took bus to Boca where the folks from Ocean Grill picked us up by boat and took us to their lovely restaurant for lunch. Worth doing but need to make reservations far in advance. We were lucky as I think someone had cancelled.
One day we took the bus to Rincon de Guayabetos. That was a bit of an adventure as you have to go to main bus terminal north of airport and catch a big bus - like Greyhound- but once you've done it once, you know the ropes.
So much to see and do, can't wait to go back.

Wow you got around!! That sounds like a wonderful trip.
Sand gravity gets me in PV, so most of my stomping around is in a 12 block radius of where I stay in Old Town, occasionally venturing across the river up to Centro for the Malecon or to shop at Ley -haha.
