"Quiet" Cabo during Spring Break (or any other ideas)?
 

We are a middle-aged couple whose precious and much-anticipated vacation time together falls smack-dab in the middle of many schools Spring Breaks. We wanted to go to Cabo because it minimizes jet lag and seems like a quick and easy flight and transfer (we are not looking for a complicated, filled-up itinerary this time around).

Does anyone know of any semi-luxury, more "mature" places to veg during this time in or around Cabo San Lucas?

If not, any other ideas for such a place not too far from the US Southwest/West Coast? (We are not interested in Costa Rica at this time).

Capella Pedregal or Pueblo Bonito Pacifica(all adult). Any of the higher end such as La Estancia.

If you want to venture up to Todos Santos, look at Posada La Poza. It's on my wish list.

I'm no expert in that price range but the ones MichelleY lists always get excellent comments on the forums and sound like what you are after.

My husband and I just spent several days at Casa Natalia in San Jose del CAbo and it was relaxing, quiet, fun - just wonderful! I find it easy to aboid the loud crowd at either the hotel in San Jose del Cabo, or any of the Pueblo Bonito properties.

LA Paz lives up to it's name. Peaceful & quite with excellent restaurants, scenery &a great Malacon to stroll.

Many of the timeshare resort/hotels, golf resorts, etc that run going east from Cabo San Lucas to Cabo San Jose along the Transpenisular Hwy are nice and a long drive from both those cities. There isn't much there for college kids to access in terms of night & party life. These resorts are usually right on the beach (although swimming is not always recommended on most beaches). If you have a car you can make the drive into CSL and CSJ on a daily basis to shop, have dinner, for a little excitement.
