Quick question
 

We are leaving on Sunday for CR and since I've lost my mind already, with 6 pages of lists and notes, hopefully someone can help me. We are taking our CC's but they all have "see id" on the signature strip - will that be an issue? Will our passport copy be okay or will we need our DL, or will they really even check? I'm assuming the passport will be fine.... this is what woke me this morning!

On 3 trips to Costa Rica I've never had someone ask me for an ID when using a credit card

If you get asked for ID, your passport or passport copy will suffice.

Are you renting a car? If so, you'll need a DL. Sorry if that's an obvious one, but it's easy to forget sometimes.

The way my brain is working today, no doubt I would forget my DL, but we hired a driver. I have to say thanks to everyone here - I have been reading this forum 2 or 3 times a day for 6 months and I am so looking forward to this vacation and everything we have planned that I can't hardly stand it.

I'm always in utter chaos mode in the days leading up to a big trip!
