Question for Buesnos Aires hotel experts
Some collegues of my wife are going to Buenos Aires, does anyone by chance know which out of these 3 is any better than the other, all around same price

Gran Argentino Hotel, Carlos Pellegrini 37 ( USD 52 )
Rochester Hotel, Esmeralda 542/46 ( USD 54 )
Cristoforo Columbo, Fray Justo Santa Maria De Oro ( USD 55 )- they like the look of this as it has a pool
Comfort Aspen Suites Buenos Aires, Esmeralda 933 (USD 58)- they really like this as has kitchenette
I think the last 2 look best but locationwise we have no idea, they need to be close to the center ( no Spanish knowlegde and average English )
Many thanks for any experts ( not have to ask same for Santiago!) Many thanks

Your friends like the look of the Cristoforo Columbo, so I will comment on this hotel....Yes, it has a pool...but it is outdoors, so if they are coming to Buenos Aires in the near future, a pool is not important because it is Fall now and soon Winter will set in....
The location is great, in Palermo Nuevo...not far from Palermo Viejo and the numerous new restaurants.....also, just a couple of blocks from Ave Santa Fe....The staff speaks English as well as Spanish....Rooms are somewhat "vintage" not really run down, but could use updating....otherwise this is a fine place for the money....

Many thanks, they are going in June, just how 'cold' would Buenos Aires and Santiago be at that time, I know we can get the weather statistics but interested into just how warm they need clothing to be and if it is 'pleasant cool' or really 'cold....', they are visiting there from Asia.
