QUERETERO, MX
 
planning a trip in mid-Sept. 2008 to Queretero. Looking for advise where to book room for 3 nights.Looking for nice, quite, clean and very $$ affordable.Would love to get ideas in what to see too...we'll be walking to most areas. THANKS!!!!!

I spent a day in Queretaro about 15 years ago. Lovely colonial town. Full of churches and squares. Is this part of a larger trip or are you just going here? If you can, I'd group it with Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende.

As far as hotels are concerned, if no one can help you here, I'd post on the thorn tree forum. There are some Queretaro experts there that can certainly help you.

No problem! You might also purchase, since you are looking for CHEAP, a Lonely Planet Guidebook to Mexico. It's what I've come to rely on for information such as you're looking for.
