Does anyone know if Quepos Airport has luggage storage facilities? Thanks a bunch

XQP airport small rural not a lot of there there.

I can't imagine they would. It is just an airstrip with a thatch roofed hut at the end where you check in.

Can you give us just a teensy bit more information? Maybe we could help more. Many hotels, hostels and cabinas will store your luggage for you, but ??

Thanks for your feedback. We're staying in Dominical but our flight gets in earlier than another fried who we are meeting at the airport. We don't need a car as the house manager is picking us up. Instead of waiting at the airport we want to go into town and hang out for a few hours and obviously don't want to lug our luggage around!

Quepos airport does not have luggage storage facilities. You might be able to slip the agent ten bucks to leave your bags behind the counter. Alternatively since you're going to have to get a taxi into to town (it's NOT walking distance) and then a taxi back out to meet your friend just leave the bags with the cab driver and have him wait for you. A couple hours of wait time won't add much to the round trip cab fare just negotiate the whole thing in advance. Around $40 should cover it.

Either way I wouldn't leave ANYTHING of value in any of the bags.
