PV weather in December

I would like to go to PV from late Dec to the beginning of Jan and I was wondering what the weather is like at this time. Are the conditions good for swimming at the beach? Thanks, I am trying to find a nice place to go on my Honeymoon.

I've always had gorgeous weather during those months. Once in awhile it's hazy in the morning, but usually "burns off" quickly.

Conditions depend which beach you are at. Playa Los Muertos (the main local beach in old town) is fun but with lots of palapa restaurants, vendors, etc. The "hotel zone" and "The Marina" hotels/resorts mostly just have a narrow strip out back. The most beautiful beaches are if you go north of town (1/2 - 1 hour).

Or for a honeymoon you might like to look at a place like Camino Real, south of town about 15 mins. but has it's own beach (I haven't stayed there myself, as I always stay in the old town neighborhood).

I agree, the Camino would be an excellent choice for honeymooners! Great time of year in PV

PV in that time of year is awesome, sometimes the waves can get a little high, the beach depends on what hotel you are staying at. It does get better the further north you go. If you get the opportunity, you should visit Punta de Mita, or Rincon de Guayabitos both have fabulous beach & swimming and are layed back towns.
