PV in March (too many spring breakers?)

Hi,

I found a great deal to PV and have made a reservation to go from March 18 - 22.
However, a friend of mine brought up spring break concerns? What is PV like this time of year? We really don't want to be thrown into the middle of spring break.
Our package deal is to stay at the Buenavallarta? Does anyone know anything about this hotel?
Any help or information woudl be greatly appreciated!!

thanks
Sandy

I have not heard of that specific hotel. Do you know what part of town it is in?

Generally speaking the cheap package deals at large tourist resorts like in the Hotel Zone of PV are where you could find a college party crowd.

I've been in PV many times in March and never run into the problem, but I stay south of downtown in a smaller Mexican family owned 3-star hotel.

Could it be that you mean the Buenaventura? There is a Buenaventura and a Hacienda Buenaventura, I think....

Never stayed there, only walked/drove past. It is north of El Centro (downtown) in the Hotel Zone.

The PV weather in March is normally terrific. I have no idea if Buenaventura draws a spring break crowd or not.
