If you like it really, really, really hot, yes. Also, remember that August is the month that most Mexican nationals travel, so expect to have lots of families with lots of kids in town during that month. PV is spectacular though...anytime!

www.Playalosarcos.com; this is a great hotel right on the beach and has air conditioning, which you will want in August. Hotel is in old town and within walking distance to many restaurants, clubs and shopping areas; convenient to everything.
