Puerto Vallarta hotel

Can anyone tell me about Ocho Cascadas Resort? We are considering staying there
for our honeymoon in October. I notice it
doesn't have air conditioning, but it is a
top-notch resort.

Thanks,
Michele

I'm not familiar with this resort but it would be a big mistake to go to Puerta Vallarta and stay somewhere without air conditioning.

Well, actually it's an open air resort. The whole front is open to the ocean. I'm thinking since it's right on the ocean, it might be nice.

Dear Michele,
I am not very familiar with the resort either, because as far as I know it are only timeshare apartments. And you have to be a member of either Interval, Trading places or Casa´s y Condo´s Club to be able to stay there. The Ocho Cascadas is situated on the south side of Puerto Vallarta, at Conchas Chinas. That is all I know, I hope it helps out a little! Kim

Dear Michele,
Ocho Cascadas is a BEAUTIFUL location...in Conchas Chinas, surrounded by lush jungle. I have lived here 8 years, do not have A-C and manage to survive! By October, things will have cooled off some, so depends on where you are coming from and what kind of weather you are used to dealing with! Where you are staying, it is, as you said, very open and you get wonderful cool breezes, especially in the evening. Please email me for further information. I am very familiar with the area that you will be staying in! Thanks and glad that you chose Vallarta for your honeymoon! PT
