Puerta Vallarta

Planning a last minute trip to P.V. and really want a unique experience other than the ordinary hotel. Does anyone have any advise. We did get a reservation at Krystal Vallarta, but can change if something better comes around.

I have stayed at the Krystal and enjoyed it. I don't know what you consider a "unique" experience. It is a hotel in the hotel zone. If you want something more authentic and less hotel like, you'll have to look outside the zone.

Hi Lisa.
How about a b&b in Nuevo Vallarta? Mine is in my home; private room with its own entrance, bath A/C. 20 minutes from Vallarta, 15 minute walk to some of the most beautiful beachs on the bay. Quiet and peaceful. $50 U.S. p/night. Please contact me for more info.

I stayed at Krystal a couple of years ago. Had a great time. The staff is very friendly. The food is not the greatest, but you're only a $3 cab ride into town.
Have a great time!

We are heading down in Feb staying in Bucerias (about 25 minutes north of PV). We rented a beautiful oceanfront villa for six people for two weeks. You can find lots of houses and villas by searching "Puerto Vallarta houses and villas rentals" good luck. Alex.
