Private Driver needed SJO to Limon

I tried to email Danny Jiminez but he never responded. Does anyone have a reliable driver i can contact? Taking my two teens 12/21 to 12/26, staying at Le Cameleon but they want $230 each way...seems steep. Thanks.

I used Christian Martinez of costaricadrivers.net. Check the website, looks like $130 which is reasonable for time and gas. We found him reliable.

We usually just book through our hotels, but we've also used Carlos Bogarin at Destinos Encantados, and he was great.

You're welcome, J - I hope you find someone you like. Carlos is fluent in English and pointed out some nice things along the way. He even provided cold bottled water for us. On a night trip, he brought us pillows and blankets. It was pretty nice. We met him because we stayed at the Lost Iguana, and he was a driver for them.

They're lucky to have a mom planning such great trips for them. I posted a few companies on your other post. Rios Tropicales is really popular for rafting.

I forgot to mention my favorite thing about Carlos - he waited hours for us at the airport when our flight was delayed. We didn't even leave SJO until 9:00 p.m. for our drive to La Fortuna. He got major points with me for that.
