Hi SportyMom23, if your first post sinks, you don't have to compose a new one. Just ttt (to the top) it.

There aren't many that fit all of your criteria. Alhambra does altho it's a pretty tiny pool. It's one door north of Playa Maya. I've stayed here and I think it's really nice. Rooms a tad small tho unless you can score the beach front room.

Playa Palms has a great pool and lovely large rooms but no beach bar or restaurant on site. I've also stayed here. I kind of like that they don't have a bar on site, means you can take your own beer (or whatever)and not have to spend extra. There are beach bars and restaurants on either side and both will bring food or beverage to you on the PP's beach if you so desire. We usually go to the small store 1/2 block away and purchase our own and take a side trip to one of the many beach restaurants for lunch.

Over the years many of the hotels right on the beach have been replaced by condo's. Sadly, they've become very $$, beautiful but not the small cheap places we used to have!

Depending on your budget, you may have to prioritize your requirements.

FYI La Tortuga is not on the beach. But it is a very nice hotel. There are few beach hotels but Playa Maya would be my first choice. You may need to redefine your needs. I would also recommend Riviera del Sol but they are constructing a condo right across the street. You may have to look at an All Inclusive in Playacar for beachfront or The Royal AI in Playa del Carmen which is also beachfront and adults only. There are many other small, nice hotels in Playa but they are not beachfront.
