Performing arts in Mexico City
 

Hello,

Hoping someone can point me in the direction of a website for Mexico City entertainment listings? Is there something like Time Out for London.

Failing that, any advice on individual venues with websites, or a central ticket booking agency?

I am heading to Mexico for the first time (very excited!!) and have four weeks in November. Right now my finger is hovering over the booking button for a flight back to DF at the end, and I would just be so miffed to find that if I'd returned a day earlier (and spent a day less at the start) I could have caught something I'd really like to see!!

Particulary interested in dance (ballet, contemporary), classical/local music, opera perhaps.

Thx loads for any replies.

Don't freak at the prices. They are using the dollar sign, but the prices are in pesos. I don't know the current exchange rate.

Thx all. It wasn't Ballet Folklorico I had in mind, really. I'd try and go for sure, if I was in the city on the right days (which doesn't look likely) but I keep reading that Mexico City has a vibrant cultural life - and yet nothing to be found on the web.

I guess I just have to wait till I get there to find out.
