Would like to drive rental truck from Punta Arenas to Torres de Paine to El Calafate, then retuen truck to Punta Arenas. I also need to get to Perito Moreno. How much can I drive,& how much will I need other transport in November?

Are you used to driving on gravel roads at high speeds?

With rocks flying at your windshield?

How far can I go into the interior of Argentina?

Only been from Punta Arenas to Torres del Paine. Took us a little over 4 hours. But we were being driven by a local who knew the roads.

Pantagonia would probably be one of the safest places to drive - from El Calafate to Torres del Paine, only saw a hand full of cars and everyone was really courteous of one another and even waved hello...no worries in that regard.
