Paradisus Riveria Cancun
 

Just returned last week from the brand new Paradisus Melia on the Myan Riveria.<BR>Very beautiful hotel but wanted to share what i thought were some serious drawbacks regarding the front desk staff and management of this hotel. I will relate these problems in a follow up but wanted to send a heads up as i couldn't find any information on this hotel prior to my departure.

I am considering a trip to this hotel with my three children and would be interested in hearing what you found during your trip in January.

I am also interested in the promised follow up report. I have read elsewhere that the service is slow in the restaurants. Was this your experience also? What were the drawbacks?<BR>Please reply soon!

I'm thinking about a trip here too and would like the scoop on this hotel, as well as the general vicinity. Has anyone every tried the snorkeling around here?

We have been going to the Melia hotel in the Dominican Republic for the past few years and have been happy with this property even though we had some problems with the front desk once. We are considering Mexico this year and would be very interested in your comments. Was it just a &quot;start-up&quot; problem? How was everything else after you got passed the front desk/management situation?
