Pantanal/Brazil
 

Thinking about a trip to Brazil and the Pantanel in August. Do people using visit Rio De Janiero beforehand? How far is the journey between these two locales? What is the most luxurious way to do this trip?

If you type in Pantanal in the search box, you will see that I have posted several questions on this topic also, with a couple of responses.

The Pantanal trips I have seen that are part of set itineraries do not include Rio, although you certainly could add that. Rather than flying in and out of Rio, Sao Paulo is used as the international entry.
