I haven't actually stayed there but visited the Palmilla for lunch and a swim with some friends who were staying there--it was about fifteen years ago--it is a beautiful hotel - true luxury

I vacationed at the Pamilla a few years ago and can highly recommend the rooms, meals and service. It definitely is an upscale resort. The only downside was the pool (very small unless it has been renovated). You have to go down a set of stairs to the beach. The views from the suite I stayed in was enormous and beautifully furnished.

You can't go wrong with it. The reataurant is VERY good. It is a very luxurious place to stay. :-)

I have stayed at this hotel on many ocassions and it is outstanding. It is like trip back in time. The setting is magnificence. The best times would be Dec thru May if weather is a factor. The place is truly five star for that part of Mexico and oh yes they do charge accordingly
