packing for costa rica

we leave tomorrow.
do we need sweaters at night?
temps say 60s at night. is it really that cold or more humid than cold?
we will be at la fortuna for 4 days and the MA along the coast for the next 4 days.
trying to figure out what to pack; don't want to over pack w/ jackets, etc.
please advise.

I would suggest a light jacket or sweater for La Fortuna but you won't need it in MA. Have fun!

I wear a GORE-TEX most of the time. It's still raining up here on the lake. All day yesterday.

I always bring a long-sleeved shirt and a jacket. It can get cool at night in the Arenal area. During rainy season, I bring a rain poncho too, one of those cheap ones that folds up into a zippered pouch. I got mine at Target.
