Packing for Ambergris Caye

I get the impression from all a read and see that I'll be good with a couple of swimsuits, coverup, some shorts and tee shirts. Any advise?

I'd stick in some flipflops. ;-)

I always pack sneakers, plus sandals and flip flops. Sunhat and sunglasses also good ideas!

I always take my own mask and snorkel and a light source - small head lamp is my preference. Lots of reading material (for me that's an iPad I use as an e-reader these days), prescription meds, great sun block and bug stuff (just in case), a sarong, and various misc. you can read about here (#14):

Here's a great pack light website in case you're interested: www.onebag.com

Also - for future reference - the place to check 'trip report' when you're creating a post that causes a little globe to show up by your subject line is supposed to just be for when you report back after your trip so we can live vicariously through you. Happy trails!

I usually pack a pair of capri pants in case it cools off in the evening or there are mosquitoes.

Depending on what types of tours you're planning on taking, consider bringing some water shoes or some crocs. Flip flops aren't always ideal on a boat if the dock gets slippery.
