One week in Buenos Aires this Feb

Will be in Buenos Aires for one week this Feb (have a hotel) and I'm interested in sightseeing, restaurants, etc. suggestions for the visit. Thank you.

There is an enormous amount of information on both the Fodor's Forum and the Trip Advisor Forum for all your questions.
Simply use the search functions.

PS We are leaving this week and plan to use the info acquired on both forums.

We were fortunate to visit BsAs for the first time last November. I did a great deal of research and have a long file on our trip which I have been sharing with other travelers. If you would like it, please e-mail me.

Mikemo: Have a wonderful and safe trip!

Just one thought ... tango clubs (the non-touristy type). BA is interesting. And learn about Arg. red wines .... fabulous. Have fun.

Osopanda, emailed your suggestion for rates and he was the lowest. However, not familiar with this company. How did you hear of them?

For an incredibly unique dining experience, I recommend the epicurerotic Te Matare Ramirez...there's no nudity, but you should be reasonably open-minded and comfortable with sexual art and innuendo. It's a VERY romantic/provacative place for anyone to take their significant other...and the food is divine. Nothing like it in the states that I have ever seen.

I also liked a day trip to Colonia, the Recoleta cemetary, our touristy estancia trip, and shopping on Calle Florida. Oh...Sam Telmo is worth a visit if you can do it on Saturday or Sunday (weekdays are dead). If you go, have lunch at La Casa De Esteban De Luca...lovely.
