One afternoon in Mexico City
 
Flying in and out, staying near the airport.

Sightseeing and dinner suggestions appreciated.

Depending what time you leave the city, go to Plaza Garibaldi for dinner and mariachi music. It starts in the evening.Go to the Templo Mayor in downtown for very interesting ruins.
