Omni Cancun or....
 

I have been researching the hotel and noticed alot of people commenting on the musty smell? is this the usual beachy smell or somethng else? ani dieas? i am torn between the omni and le meridien. leaving in a week.....help!!!! thanks...beth

I have been to the Omni twice, and never noticed any bad odors. We had the oceanview rooms both times, and it was well worth it. I highly recommend the Omni!

I just posted a reply to another poster who had the same question about the musty smell. I recently stayed at the Omni and have stayed there 2 other times and have not noticed a musty smell. The Omni has an amazing beach, great pools, and good food. You can't go wrong with this hotel.

My husband and I have stayed at the Omni twice, AI both times. We find the food to be very good. Have a great trip!

Rooms have tile and marble, and I don't remember a musty smell at all, This was the first and last place I have stayed in Cancun with many in between, I just love it ! The food is very good, the grounds, the beach, service, I have always had a good time...Bon Voyage !
