Oaxaca Airport -Are authorized taxis available at 11:30 PM?
 

Hi all,

I just got a call from Interjet that there was a schedule change and our flight from MEX now arrives at 11PM? Is the authorized taxi kiosk open at that time of night,and if not how do we get a taxi to our hotel located in the central district of Oaxaca.

I can switch days to get a more reasonable arrival time, but that would give me one day less in Oaxaca, so I'd rather not do thagt if I could be certain that I would not be stranded at the airport if we arrived at 11PM.

No doubt if a plane comes in cabs will be there.

I've never been at any airport anywhere that didn't have lots of guys in taxis wanting fares, and Oaxaca was no exception. I didn't get there that late at night, but I can't imagine why there wouldn't be a taxi at 11:30 pm. Oaxaca isn't that small a city, there are plenty of taxis at the airport. If the airport is open, there are taxi services, it's a major service for that company that has that contract.

Any decent hotel should be able to arrange a transfer with a taxi for you anyway, and have someone waiting for you. Why don't you do that?
