November Honeymoon

Hello, My fiance and i will be traveling to Costa Rica on November 9 for our honeymoon, we will be there for a total of 9 days. We are flying into San Jose and staying for a night then planning on renting a car and traveling to our hotel in Tamarindo. Any suggestions of places we should go. We are are looking for some rest/relaxation as well as fun things to do, we would love to do a canopy tour & maybe volcano tour or something. Any suggestions in the Tamarindo area would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations for your upcoming wedding!

That is a lot of time in one location for a country that has so much to offer. You may want to at least consider an overnight to Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna. The one day tour is a really long day.

A day pass to Hacienda Guachipelin or Buena Vista makes for an awesome day of adventure.

The turtles will be nesting on Playa Grande if you are into nature. Palo Verde is also great for wildlife including monkeys, scarlet macaws and crocs.

Blue Dolphin has a great romantic catamaran cruise.

I would spend half my time in Arenal - so much to see and do there, and you would get volcano time.

Xandari is a great place to spend a night near the SJO airport - very honeymoonish.
