Nicoya Peninsula vs. Manuel Antonio in Costa Rica???

So I am making some last minute changes to our family trip in July and would love some advice about which destination to add to our itinerary.
fyi-our plan so far is to stay central for 2 nights, canopy tour then-we have to pick our son up near by.
Then flying to Tamarindo for 3 nights-do a little sportfishing, then off to Arenal Kioro-zip lining and waterfall adventures.
Any advise about Nicoya or Manuel Antonio-so that we have a very well rounded vacation. My husband and I will be w/our 17 and 21 year old sons-just to help w/the scenario...?

Good recommendations from Qwovadis, Also in Manuel Antonio I like The Falls Resort - http://www.fallsresortcr.com/

I dig the Nicoya peninsula, far less people than Manuel Antonio. MA may a bit too much like Tamarindo IMO.
Cheers

I am a 22 year old female studying in Costa Rica for 2 months and I just got back from Manuel Antonio Sunday night after going the weekend before. I absolutely love it there! It is beautiful and there are tons of things to do and see. My friends am I were walking back to our hotel and saw a ton of monkeys in the trees right by the beach come out of nowhere. There are rocks to climb and the water is beautiful and the park is gorgeous too! I haven't visited the other place you mentioned so I can't compare but I LOVE manuel antonio.

Wow the Falls look amazing-we have already made reservations at Buena Vista for a two bedroom villa-bet that gives a good reason to go back, hopefully! Thanks for your feedback.
