New 2005 Fodor's Belize & Guatemala

I just received from Random House a couple of copies of the new Fodor's Belize & Guatemala 2005 guide, which I co-authored and updated. Gregory Benchwick updated the Guatemala section.

The guide, now in its 5th edition, has been totally redesigned and reformatted, as well as completely updated. I think readers will find the new format more useful and easier to use.

I'm not sure when the guide will be in bookstores worldwide, but I assume very soon -- it has an October publication date.

Given that this is Fodor's website, an occasional plug for their books doesn't seem out of line to me.

Looking forward to seeing the new guide, Lan. Expect similar changes in the 2005 edition of Fodor's Costa Rica. It underwent quite a bit of expansion over the 2004 edition. (I'm one of the writers, but haven't seen the new book yet. It's also due out soon.)

That's great! Wish it was out when we went to Belize recently.

Hey Incognito, buzz off. Thank you Lan for all the information you provide to us, FOR FREE. I will be first in line to purchase the 2005 edition. My way of saying thanks for helping all of us with our questions.

Percy:

If you go, you have to stay a couple nights at Banana Bank Lodge and say "hi"
to John and Carolyn for us, oh and Tika, she liked us. Actually, we have been talking about going back for a long weekend, I want to horse back ride there again.
