Need recommendation for lodging on Ambergris Caye
 

My husband and I will be on Ambergril from 3/13-3/18.. We wanted to stay at Victoria House, but they are full. Is something going on that week that I should know about? Anyone have a second or third recommendation? We want nice beach and ocean front. Thanks!!!

Xanadu Resort is awesome there.

Nothing going on that week that I know of. It's just high season.

I like Xanadu as well, although there is a sea wall, so swimming is off the dock.

Maybe Caribbean Villas or Coral Bay Villas (I own a unit here). Although neither is in the same league as Victoria House.

Also, look at the Phoenix, although, once again a sea wall.

If you don't mind being further from town, look at Grand Caribe or Coco Beach.

It could be coinciding with Spring Break for a lot of families. Not sure, but that's usually in mid-March.

Banyan Bay is a nice option

BTW, some of the Paradise Villas (above link) are also on VRBO.
