Need hotel for last day

I'm working on our itinerary, and need something for our last day. We will be in Manuel Antonio on Nov 18th, and our flight is out of San Jose the next day at 2:45. We'll have a rental car (dh, me, two kids 5 and 8). We'd like to do some kind of activity the morning of the 18th, and then head partway to the airport. Is there any place to stay between Jaco and Alejuela? We don't really want to stay in MA and make the whole drive in the morning. Suggestions?

We went from MA to Finca Que Ama late afternoon the day before we left. We had lovely conversation and food and the next morning relaxed and hiked a little before the 1 1/2 hour drive to the airport.

Hello, try Cafetal Inn, its in Santa Eulalia/Atenas, 1/2 hour from the airport.

I too would stay at Finca Que Ama. Beautiful property, wonderful host, great food and only 1-1/2 from the airport.

Although we loved El Cafetal, we love more La Finca. Both places have very nice hosts, but you just must meet Neta and Arbel at La Finca! They will make you feel so at-home! It is a beautiful hotel with great amenities in a part of the country not frequented by hordes of tourists--only a special few! :)

If fact, your morning activity on the 18th could be Turu-Bari park. From there you are about 45 minutes from La Finca Que Ama. Or Cararra Biological Reserve--also on the way. Enjoy!! :)

There are three other hotels within a 30 to 45 minute drive to the airport that I found to be lovely. Vista del Valle, Xandari, and Finca Rosa Blanca all offer beautiful settings, handsomely decorated rooms and good food.
You have a lot from which to choose!
