Need help finidng a hotel for Feb or Mar in Playa Del Camen
My husband and I are planning a trip to Playa Del Carmen and are struggling to choose a hotel. We'd like one on the beach, close to the nightlife yet secluded enough so there isn't a lot of noise and the beach isn't busy. We're not looking for an all inclusive as we plan to take a few day adventures while we are there and don't think the price for an all inclusive will make sense since we will only be there 1/2 the time. If we stick to not staying at an all inclusive, we'd like to keep the price between $300 - $400 /night. Definitely will apreciate your recommendations!! Thank you!

Blue Parrot suites is a great location, nice, clean affordable accommodation. Right off 5th Av.

Take a look at Riviera Maya Suites ( http://www.rivieramayasuites.com/ ). Haven't stayed there but keep thinking about it. It's not a hotel per se, but looks great. Direct access to the grounds and facilities of the Hotel Las Palapas, including the beach. We stayed at La Tortuga Hotel, which was a cute, clean, well-maintained hotel but not on the beach.

Look into Playa Maya. Their included breakfast is served on the beach!

Look at Locogringo.com for accomendations:
https://www.locogringo.com/property-...20del%20Carmen Many of the smaller, boutique hotels in Playa del Carmen do not have beach access, so be careful when looking. They will have comp. access to a beach club. Look at Mahekal Beach Resort. They do not have TV's or phones in the rooms. It's about a 20 minute walk to the start of 5th Avenue and probably sits on the best beach in that area. Playa Palms is in a great location, but they do not have their own restaurant and bar. Mosquito Beach Hotel Petit Lafitte Las Palapas, which is right next door to the Mahekal. Le Reve Hotel Spa |
