Need a suggestion for Thankgiving dinner in P de C

Hi, we normally totally immerse ourselves in Mayan cuisine on our trips to Q.Roo, but the traditional T-day meal is a custom we cannot shake. Normally we cobble together a small but respectable T-day meal in our little timeshare, but this thanksgiving we will be with a group of 8 adults (experienced travelers) so cooking in is not an option. Anyone know of a nice restaurant in P De C who does a respectable Americano Thanksgiving meal?
thx

My favorite, and where I'll be, Mom's bar. Jurgen does a great meal. You can take out also if you want. He'll start taking reservations soon or you can Facebook him. Seats sell out.

Last Thanksgiving we went to Zenzi at Calle 10 at the oceanfront. They did a nice thanksgiving dinner with turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, gravy. ot as traditional as I coat home, but it was very good and had a very nice presentation, and it was a lovely place to eat, right on the beach. no reservations were required. I think they started serving the Thanksgiving plate a little on late side though, maybe 4 pm. You would want to check on the timing when you get to Playa.

I think both Mom's or Zenzi are good choices although very different in style and ambiance. Moms, very home style but not on the beach. Zenzi, lovely setting on the beach but kind of pricey and more upscale.

A compromise would be Wah Wah. Beautiful huge palapa on the beach but much more laid back. Normally they do a buffet one day/week which is really very good and quite reasonable. Cowboy John can put out a really good spread! I assume they will be doing a thanksgiving....they always have.

Just to follow up - we elected to eat at Zenzi and it was quite nice. They did a very fine Turkey and even had sweet potatoes! That msut have taken some homework to find a supplier for sweet potatoes as they are not routinely available in local groceries. They also had "Smashed" potatoes (Hey, I don't speak Spanish so "smashed" is just fine with this gringo) and a very fine sausage dressing with a nice selection of greens and other accompaniments. I think they had a supplier of desserts back out on them as they served a blah strudel dessert. But the rest of the meal was very well done, and the service was enthusiastic and they had this blues band that was quite talented. Thanks to all for the suggestion!
