Nature Air and luggage size
We are flying on Nature Air to Puerto Jimenez in a couple of months to stay at Bdc. Yeah! I know that Nature Air has a weight limit, but is there a certain size that your bag needs to be or will any duffle bag work? I have looked on the website and I only see something about the weight, but I'm just double checking because I don't want to have any problems. Also, if anybody has any good suggestions for a lightweight bag, I'll take it.
Thanks for all your help! |
They weighed my checked bag (about 20 lbs). Then they weighed me while carrying my carry on. Being a small woman, I had no issues, despite my camera equipment and books. So, I suggest you put all your heavy items in the smallest person's carry on.
I took my 21.5-inch lightweight expandable duffle from Briggs Riley and a mid-sized tote as a carry on. The combination worked perfectly. Anything bigger than the tote would have been uncomfortable, as it was on my lap for the entire flight due to the size of the plane. |
We flew Nature Air to PJ a couple weeks ago. As previous poster said they'll weigh you and your luggage. We each took an ebags Weekend Convertible (holds more than you'd think) - and super light. Costs only about $59. Highly recommend. Check it out on ebags.com. I also had a healthy back bad and husband had a fanny pack. I think our weekenders weighed in around 18 lbs or so. And we were in CR for 10 days.

glover - I'm curious which bag you ordered from ebags. There are tons on that site! Thank.

It's the Weekender Convertible - shown under carry ons - best sellers. Now selling for $45 and free shipping!

Hi Glover--what a great deal. Unfortunately, we paid regular, but that's the story of our lives! We have really enjoyed those though, and thank you again for the suggestion you made months ago!
