Whoa! Wait a minute! Shoes and purses in Buenos Aires? Oh man, I'm loving this trip better and better every minute!

Am now going to search my November Lucky magazine...I didn't think I was going to BA at that time...how things change! 8}

Do get the Economist list of shopping suggestions (on line from the website) as well.

I would add Casa Lopez for purses, belts and jackets...and gloves.

Thanks cmcfong! I'll be scouring the Economist site for this list. Although if I don't find it, it may be a blessing to my poor wallet. :)

Never mind. I think I found it. :O

But there's also a lot of very good information on the site, so thank you so much for the suggestion...

My pleasure. I found the Economist site very informative. I will be anxious to hear about your visit!

cmcfong, I am printing out this report, my husband and I are fiddling with the ideas of The Next Trip and out of town visits, Bariloche, Colonia etc.
Thanks for posting this ((F))

We of the "By Purse Obsessed" League must stick together! You and the Yankee would love Aldebaran. I miss it so.

cmcfong:

How did I miss this last month?!

Sounds like a great trip - BA is high on our list.

We leave for SE Asia, OZ and NZ in a couple of weeks - will be doing a blog again

http://lizandrichardsa.typepad.com/2007_adventures/

It's still under construction.

If you have any advice for our destinations would love to hear it!

Happy New Year!

Liz

Hi Liz, I will definitely follow your blog. I so enjoyed the last one. I haven't been to that area for almost twenty years so I am afraid I am not much help. Have a great and safe trip.

The former President of my fan club is always quite helpful.

Excellent, excellent trip report - put me down as another person who has moved this destination closer to the top of their list

AV Rooster is the Argentine expert, but I am topping this report in case you want to consider Bariloche and that part of Patagonia.

I enjoyed this all over again..now that we live in Buenos Aires, so many more things (day trips-overnight trips) are easier and more possible..Thanks again, cmcfong, for writing this..((F)) Scarlett

I took a quick read and it looks like I put my review of Loi Suites on Trip Advisor same screen name.
