montezuma activities

Hi everyone Can anyone tell which is better curu or cabo blanco park?? Do we need a guide? or is it easy to do on our own? We want to rent ATV's while there should drive these to either park. I am looking for a 1/2 day fishing tour also. I saw zuma tours but no 1/2 day tour. Any thoughts on the isla tortugs tours? thanks

I hope someone replies. I will be there beginning of December and want to do these same activities (except for fishing). I've read that Curu is better than Cabo Blanco, and mixed reviews on the Tortuga tours.

We went a couple years ago on the Isla Tortuga day tour and it was fantastic! The shoreline is pristine and gorgeous as you pass by, then you encounter large rocks as you approach Isla Tortuga. We snorkeled there, had a grilled lunch on the beach and explored. Very beautiful, great scenery. Fantastic! Bought our tickets in town the day or two before.

snorkel, what kinds of things did you see while you were snorkeling? Was there good visibility?

Haven't done Curu so can't compare but Cabo Blanco was really nice, you don't need a guide at all, it's pretty much a one way trail that ends at the water and then you come back the way you came. I would note that it was probably the hottest trail I've ever done (this was in May), so earlier start the better.
