Mid Level Adventure + Beach = ? in Mexico

Interested in some degree of mid-level adventuring (snorkeling, kayaking, hiking, repelling, ultra-light, caving, jungle tours, ruins, etc.) combined with good beach and some degree of night life (if possible) Looking at PV, Playa del Carmen, Acapulco and Ixtapa. Would like to try and stay in Mid to Upper level lodging. Any suggestions?

I appreciate the reply, but it seems like that site is just an advertisement for a condo. Anyone have any experience doing any of these activities in Mexico?

Bill, I've spent a dozen+ vacations in old town/southside Puerto Vallarta. I don't think it's what you're looking for (i.e., snorkeling not so hot, no kayaking, repelling, or caving that I've ever heard of, mediocre beaches, and no ruins on the Pacific coast).

Don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE fan of PV, it is a warm, charming, friendly place, but (except for nightlife and good choices for lodging) it just doesn't fit the description of what you're after.

I thought of this post/question as I was reading a travel magazine last night... Have you thought about Belize? At least from this one article it sounded like you could find what you're looking for there.
